Dead Snakes is Dead

Dead Snakes is Dead

Thank you to all the poets and artists and photographers for making Dead Snakes so successful!  It is with great sadness we're closing her down.  Please send your poems that you have emailed in to another poetry site.  There are many great poetry sites out there.

Keep writing and Mega Cheers!!!

Stephen Jarrell Williams

  13. Not sure if you're going to get this or not but I just wanted to thank you for all the support and all the poems that you published. Dead Snakes was (and will always be) a great site and the internet is a little poorer now that it is gone.

  22. Stephen,

Thank you so much for the countless hours of your time that you've cheerfully devoted to the independent literature community. There are so many poets who have benefitted from the exposure afforded by Dead Snakes, not to mention your friendship and encouragement.

I have corresponded online with several writers who've opined that you are a "gentleman" and "one of ours." You've been a down-to-earth, goodnatured voice that we will all miss.

But we know that you are surely moving on to bigger and better things. Onward and upward, Sir!

    Your friend,

    Eric

  24. Yes! Time as an 'independent' is not usually understood. It takes its toll on health, family &
the editor/writer's own future. Stay well & happy my friend & do, now, what you need to do. Stefanie
