FOLLOWING “ORLANDO” & ‘POEMAS HUMANOS’  *

Some dealings are so terrible! So despicable!
And though
Circumspection points
A disciplinary finger -
I just do not have
The resources...

When the jowl of a beheaded sun quivers
Above a day
Bent on procreating
Still more fatality -
I just do not have
The resources...

And we, who recognise the Crippled Earth
- Vallejo – are entombed
In this
Remote acre.
The roll-call of bones
Wets the sad

Eye of Madre Tierra – never
The slick vice-high
Umbrage
Of the homo sapiens
                                Formally
‘Senor Esclavo’ – :
The ‘esquire slave’.

Delirious, the appeal rebounds from
A loudhailer.
Commonality!
Christ... be.
Be benevolent!
“Taita Inti!”

The burning bush throbs its magnitude.
Which rags
Will the puny
Esoteric wear?
I just do not have
The resources...
