Larry Jones- A Poem

ALZHEIMER'S

I paused near the church
on my daily walk.

I heard some kind of alarm going off,
thought there might be a fire.

A woman pulled over
in a pickup truck
around 45 years old
long brown hair
not bad looking.

She leaned out the window
"Hi Larry" she said,
"Can I give you a lift?"
"No thanks" I said.

Never accept a ride with a stranger.
