Richard Schnap- A Poem

ATTENDANT

He greets everyone
With a cheery hello
Whether driving a Porsche
Or a pickup

Guiding them when
They become confused
And enter the lot
Through its exit

In subzero winters
And sizzling summers
He’ll be standing there
Lending a hand

For the ones at the bottom
Accepting their fates
Are the ones that know
What life’s about

1 comment:

  1. The attendant knew what life was about. He probably was happier than the guy/gal in the Porsche.
