Francis Annagu- A Poem

(for a country)

Ploy us to

Other side of

The railway track,

Then shall we

Be proud of

This vinegar

To your saturated

Shoulder, when

Our swollen tongues

Like Sponges

Are stampeded by

A dark-lit train.
