J "Ash" Gamble- Three Poems

Quandary

I'm in a quandary of what
to do with you, but that's
okay; I'm in a quandary of
what to do with myself,
we two question marks.

Charles the Elder

He tells me the horrid story
of how he can remember his
circumcision then accuses me
of wanting to steal his life,
no thank you, Charles, Senior.

St. Roy

He's good to me like a bottle
of rum is good on a hot day,
slowing me down and keeping
me a little loopy for the haul.
