LIGHT OF LIGHTS
He wandered the streets
Feeling like he was on
An alien planet
Where voices sang out
That seemed to speak
Of some impending event
They followed him to his room
Through the quiet darkness
Where he took a small candle
That something made him light
And place by his window
Before falling into dreams
Then when he awoke
He found it still burning
As bright as a star
And for the first time
Felt in his heart
He was finally home
