I was sitting on the dock
When I heard a doggie bark
Ok I just said that for the rhyme
And as long as I have the time
Let me say this about that

That may just be true or not
But it seems that I forgot
Forgot to send the letter out
Forgot to give a big old thought
Forgot to get to the church on time
And forgot to give a very good rhyme
