Ramona Thompson- A Poem

Terrorists Are Dead Snakes

Slithering
Venomous
Spreaders of lies and other false truths
They know no human mortals
Hold no tender values
Only war gives them
The peace they seek
To ease souls
Tormented by Hell

Godless creatures
Trapped in the twisted cravings of the flesh
Forgive them father
For maybe just maybe
They know not what they do
To keep from going mad
Losing my sanity
Watching the nightly horrors on the news unfold
This is all some of us can do
Pray for those
Without a prayer

Cold where hearts should be
Weapons and bombs keep them alive
But only for so long
Till Allah's judgement day arrives
With no more mercy
Then they have shown their victims
Suffering soon to be avenged
A just reward
Wicked men always find
A fitting punishment for the crime
In the end
