summer dollars,
don't want to be
inconvenienced,
don't want to lose
an arm or leg
or part of their stomach,
& stay close to the shore,
politicians gearing up
for the 2016 race,
spending summer dollars,
throw bait in the water,
wait for the people to come,
then once elected
they head back out to sea
