Noel Negele- A Poem

The Sun Never Stops Setting

And smoke plays with the air
And embraces it with more than one ways—
Slyly, like it crawls into you

Laying in bed a man sometimes wonders
Why bother really when everything leads to the same play?
Is the journey really that important?

Suicide seems like a short cut more than often
But truth be told
Even a single ray of sunlight falling on a leaf
Can keep the razor from sliding on the wrist.
