Michael Cluff- A Poem


Hank does not mind
the inevitability of the dawn
if he gets to decide
when the sun will move
upward to achieve
his goal.
The plains will be silent
the airport lacking lights.
Blimps will replace submarines
and weathermen will report
about willows and wannabees
until the stars shift
wth tides that occur
only within
a box...
