Daniel Klawitter- A Poem

Janet From Another Planet

A girl in my class named Janet
clearly comes from another planet:

Her skin is green
and she shoots laser beams
that could easily sink the Titanic.

Does she come Mars?
Or perhaps from Venus?

It’s hard to tell-
she’s an evil genius.

Does she come from Saturn?
Or perhaps from Jupiter?

I can see a pattern-
my questions
getting stupider.

Wherever she’s from-
she’s becoming more famous.
I once saw her chew gum
on the planet Uranus.
