Emotions surfaced
a sadness penetrated
her being born from loneliness.
His kind words
feigning concern
left her confused.
He needed something
to fill a void believing he was
only helping her.
All along he knew the truth,
while she willingly believed the lie.
Mystery
She never heard your voice,
only the silence of your keyboard.
You conveyed a mystery
using masks to tell a fairy tale
that at times even you believed.
