Michael Cluff- A Poem

Untitled

The mice fall backwards
when two light leopards approach
stasis rebalanced

Jacarandas bend
in the harsh April windstorm
flowers are shattered

Heroin holes now
peppered Aubrey Wainwright's wrist
even in his sleep

Ravens crowding round
his leg separated clean
the archer can't crawl
