Ephram Pratt Wields the Truth in Large Buckets

Broken spars
along with frequent tunneling,

makes the arbitration
of cockles & mussels

seem like catch-as-catch-can,
relaxing in slow motion,

greeting the porters
in the sleepers

like absentee
residents of Enid, Oklahoma.

Doesn't it seem
under staffed

and like silence breaking
from the bar

when all the endorphins
invade the body

of sanctuary seeking
idlers? They are walking

with brain damaged
poets, wielding

truth in large buckets,
asleep in a frost.
