Berlin

the wall gone,

but the shadows still remain,

the voices silenced,

only specters from the past,

unheard,

and unseen,

yet felt in the souls,

of a people now free,

the wall gone,

but the shadows still remain.

 

 

 

The Spoken Word

words spoken behind closed doors,

recorded and broadcast worldwide,

for everyone to hear,

for everyone to see,

today it is everyone's business what the individual says,

or thinks,

terrorists,

and racists,

exist behind closed doors,

while fascists run rampant,

and rule the day.
