To Govern
the law of the jungle overturned,
and upside down,
the weak encouraged to devour the strong,
dependency allowed to flourish,
the senate out of oxygen,
the house a divide,
the art of governance,
a memory,
it has already died.
Insurance
money not saved,
neither are lives,
healthcare a facade,
people still die,
but go ahead,
and place the blame,
doctors and hospitals punished,
it's all a game,
make people think,
insurance,
the new wonder drug,
it doesn't protect,
it doesn't cure,
insurance is nothing,
only a word,
worthless,
time will prove this is so,
risk is inherent in the act of living,
security an illusion,
named insurance.
