Ray Samuc- A Poem

Watching

Propelled and overused
in quiet thought--
watch the sidewalk

people with life fallen silent
resemble each other--
the cradled rocking horse

nestled in the woman's
arms is going home--
the recollection of an era

ended persists, and wearied
shadows are equipped--
for an eager dawn flinging it's light.

Ray Samuc is an administrator and philosophy graduate from the North West of England. He has poems published in Mused, Blue Lake Review and Pyrokinection.
