The Ring
silver gleaming ring
five stones like crushing words
a start of sorrow
Phone Call
a bottle of wine
the thud of a crashing phone
she choked on her words
His Voice
a melodic voice
it soothes and calms her wild heart
beating with his own
Brittany Zedalis is a married 21 year old poet/college junior studying
to be an elementary teacher at Francis Marion University. She has had
poems published in several journals online, and it is one of her only
ways to deal with grief.
