The Land of the Free
the fall of Rome repeated,
Nazi Germany now revisited,
in the land of the free,
where patriot acts protect the Fatherland from the unamerican,
and the foreign,
heil Hitler,
the government to pick both friends and foes,
the degree of American-ness,
proclaimed by government decree,
first and foremost Americans only,
no longer exist,
but white Americans,
black Americans,
gay and straight Americans,
female and male Americans,
with different rules for all,
so that all may equally be,
American,
in the land of the free,
a house divided for political gain,
will not stand for long,
just ask old Abe,
the fall of Rome repeated,
the Third Reich the same,
in the land of the free.
