This Place Has Found Us

 

Camille watches The Donald

cozying up to Sarah Palin,

degenerating MILF,

maverick moron,

Tea Party darling.

 

It’s amazing that much

willful disinformation

in a confined space

doesn’t implode the skulls

of cheering fans

who gather around them.

 

Camille craves tokes

to erase coming months

of campaign chatter,

political pandering.

 

Regrets going dry

at a time when

she desperately needs

a prolonged bender,

then sustained black out.
