Glare
Skimpy limbs point twisted fingers,
frame rocky bay.
Gray pelicans belly-flop into spindrift.
Carping gulls snipe, frisk scattered trash.
Ragged shoreline protrudes,
forms stone harbor seal plinths.
Faint hills cup distant fishing boats,
passing orcas. Golden sky glares.
Morning walkers pause,
assess glittering horizon.
Haze shrouded fire ball
bronzes dawn surf.
Jennifer Lagier enjoys shocking her neighbors by dancing naked with snakes on nights of super blood moon eclipse.
