i'll wipe away
all your tears
of frustration
with my tongue
i was always
a sucker for a
damsel in
anything that
came close to
resembling
distress
i'll gladly give
up the last 20
years of my life
just to hold you
on a warm
summer
night
who needs the
future when the
right now happens
to be the only
happiness you
can ever remember
the trick is
learning how
to hold on
without
squeezing
it to death
the drugs to fix us
hopeless quickly
becomes helpless
as a chill enters
the night air
we were once
brilliant fighting
machines
unbreakable
and undefeated
what are we now
these fear riddled
masses of humanity
lost
hidden from society
just another burden
on the system
they are still working
on the drugs to fix us
tired of being a lab
rat the corner pusher
will have to do
for tonight
jail beats a park bench
when the full moon
brings out all the
others demons
being social is not
one of my redeeming
qualities
